Ukraine President Zelensky Has ‘No Serious Injuries’ After Car Accident

(CTN News) _ There were no serious injuries suffered by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a car accident that occurred in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on Wednesday.

According to the president’s press secretary, a car collided with the president’s car and escort vehicles.

Medical personnel accompanying Zelensky administered emergency care to the car’s driver and transported him to an ambulance, according to the statement.

It was noted in the statement that the president was examined by a doctor, and there were no serious injuries found.

An investigation is underway into what happened.

Earlier in the day, Zelensky visited the recently liberated city of Izium in the northeastern region of Kharkiv, five days after the country’s forces recaptured the city a few days earlier.

An army unit’s Facebook page shows Zelensky at a ceremony to raise the Ukrainian flag over the city’s administrative building. Hanna Maliar, the Deputy Minister of Defense, was also present.

In the past, when we looked up, we always looked for a blue sky. In a post on the presidential Telegram channel, Zelensky stated that we are looking only at one thing when we look up – the flag of Ukraine.

“OuIn the de-occupied Izium, our blue-yellow flag is already flying. It will be the same in every Ukrainian village and city. We are moving forward and towards victory in only one direction.
