(CTN News) – UK Foreign minister Liz Truss said on Tuesday that the British government will continue to impose sanctions on Russia until Moscow fully withdraws from Ukraine.
Liz Truss said The U.S. is committed to providing more weapons, imposing more sanctions, and supporting Ukraine in its push against Russia.
Liz Truss said she would travel to Turkey on Wednesday to discuss ways to get grain out of Odesa, saying that there was only a matter of weeks left.
Russia has been sanctioned heavily by the United States, the European Union, and Britain for what they call an invasion of Ukraine. Putin has described it as a military operation.
Liz Truss said that sanctions would continue until Russia fully withdraws from Ukraine.
Russian businessmen, politicians, religious leaders, and businesses have been targeted by Britain’s wide-ranging sanctions.
