Ted Cruz

According to reports, Sen. Ted Cruz got into a fight with airline workers at a Montana airport, and the police were called.

A person who posted a video of the aftermath of the incident on Reddit claimed that Ted Ted Cruz, who was wearing a mask, began “abusing” airline staff at the airport after allegedly missing his flight.

The poster said that law enforcement had been called by the senator of Texas after he refused to calm down. The video only shows Ted Cruz interacting with the police officer.

A poster of the video later clarified that he did not believe “he was verbally abusing airline staff” but made “thinly veiled threats against the employment of the people involved.”

Scott Humphrey, deputy director of Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, told the Daily Mail that a law enforcement officer was on hand to defuse the situation.

It was not unusual for one of our Public Safety Officers (PSO) who was on duty in the ticket lobby to assist a frustrated passenger at the United ticket counter (which is not unusual),” Humphrey explained.

According to Humphrey, after Ted Cruz was assisted by the law enforcement officer, he was booked onto a different flight for the evening and left Bozeman later that night.

“Our PSO did not realize he was dealing with Senator Cruz until afterward,” he said.

Cruz’s office didn’t immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
