SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi has been Diagnosed with COVID-19
A member of the South Korean band Seventeen with the band name Hoshi tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Pledis Entertainment, the group’s management company, released a statement on Wednesday regarding the band’s departure.
He is currently not experiencing any symptoms, although he does have a sore throat and a cough as symptoms of his health status. Singer, who is undergoing self-treatment at home, has canceled all his scheduled events, as he is undergoing self-treatment at home at the moment.
“On Wednesday, March 2, Hoshi had a sore throat and a cough since Wednesday. He tested positive on the self-test kit.” the statement said. Other than Wonwoo and Vernon, all the seventeen members of the group have taken pre-emptive self-test kits on Wednesday, and the results were all negative, so no symptoms were identified.

Further in the statement, it read, “It would be difficult for Hoshi to take part in Seventeen‘s activities for the time being; we will provide you with updates regarding his resumption of activities.”.
In the meantime, the 13 members of the band, Announcing the release of their film, Seventeen: Power Of Love, S. Coups,, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino, treated their fans with an exciting announcement. On the 20th and 23rd of April, the movie will be screened at theaters across the country.
