The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, has already opened in theaters and is doing quite well even after its second week. A sadistic killer leaves behind cryptic clues that lead Batman into Gotham City’s underworld. As of 2022, the popular American superhero film became the third-highest-grossing film of the year.

Robert Pattinson stars as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton / Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle / Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot / Penguin. The Batman was the third biggest opener for DC films in India after Batman v Superman and Aquaman.

Robert Pattinson’s The Batman gets an OTT release date

There’s good news for fans of The Batman. Having just been released in theaters, Robert Pattinson‘s film now has an OTT release date. HBO Max will premiere the film on 19th April, which was released on 1st March. The Let’s OTT Global Twitter account shared an intriguing poster featuring Robert Pattinson dressed as The Batman.

Apparently, due to some technical errors on the streaming service’s website, different premiere dates have been revealed and are valid. Streaming of The Batman will begin on Tuesday, 19th April, and will continue until the 23rd of April. Those who haven’t seen the film yet are looking forward to its OTT release.

Robert Pattinson’s DC debut is receiving a warm reception from Indian fans. After doing a business of Rs. 1 crore during previews, the film did Rs. 7 crores on Friday, Rs. 9 crores on Saturday, and Rs. 9.25 crores on Sunday, for a total of Rs. 26.25 crores. The Matt Reeves-directed movie has now surpassed the $400 million milestones worldwide and earned $463.2 million through its second weekend.
