Police in Bangkok report there have been allegations that a member of ground staff at Suvarnabhumi International Airport sexually assaulted a male passenger, 15, in a restroom.

Pol Col Chakrapong Nuchphadung, the airport police station’s superintendent, verified the occurrence. He said a 46-year-old lady came forward to authorities on Wednesday to say that a ground crew member for an airline based at the airport named “Sukkasem” had abused her kid.

The incident occurred in a lavatory close to Gate B8 of the domestic terminal at approximately 6:40 p.m.

The boy, then 15, had sought the man for help because he was on his way to Krabi to visit his mother.

Sukkasem, 43, allegedly grabbed the victim improperly after giving him a boarding permit and telling him to wait for boarding, and then convinced him that his luggage was too heavy. He directed the victim into a lavatory, claiming he needed to check the bag’s contents.

However, once inside, the guy allegedly locked himself in a cubicle with the youngster, blocked his way out and sexually assaulted him twice despite the boy’s cries for help.

The victim claims that Sukkasem threatened him when he exited the loo and forced him to wait.

As soon as the victim arrived in Krabi and told his family about the attack, they took him to the Nua Klong police station, where they collected DNA evidence that led to the issuance of an arrest order for the airport worker.

Police Arrest Teenage Girls

Police Arrest Teenage Girls, Aged 13 And 15 For Murder

In Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, police have arrested two young teenagers, ages 13 and 15, on suspicion of murdering a fellow student, age 15, by drowning her in a pond.

Reports indicate that envy played a role in the incident since the victim had become close to the partner of one of the defendants.

On Saturday, the two unnamed suspects and the chief of the Bua Yai police station, Pol Col Thatchaphon Songsaeng, reenacted the crime near the Bueng Hua Yai pond. Angry locals gathered at the scene to denounce the perpetrators.

Police made the arrest on Friday after reviewing surveillance footage from the victim’s home in Bua Yai that showed the two suspects riding a motorbike to the residence on the night in question.

They eventually dumped the girl’s body in the pond on Thursday morning.

After learning that the victim was close with one of the suspects’ boyfriends, the two girls reportedly got into a fight with her. The victim was a Mathayom Suksa 3 (Grade 9) student at a school in Bua Yai.

After the fight got out of hand, the suspects threw her into the pond and sat on top of her until she drowned.

Invoking local beliefs, the victim’s distraught mother and family performed a religious rite at the scene of the crime in order to coax her soul back to the afterlife.

In the coming days, the police will bring in psychologists to question the adolescent suspects alongside the police.

Thailand, like many countries, unfortunately experiences cases of homicide involving teenagers from time to time. These cases can be the result of various factors, including personal disputes, gang violence, or other criminal activities.

The Thai authorities work to investigate and prosecute those responsible for such crimes, and efforts are made to address the underlying social issues that contribute to youth violence.
