While much of the new iPhone SE remains the same as the last generation, we think it offers a lot in an affordable package. With an A15 Bionic chip, it should deliver the same iOS 15 experience as the iPhone 13 Mini, 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max, for much less. Image capture will be fast, gaming will be engaging, and any task can feel fluid.

The third-generation SE looks identical to the second-generation and resembles an iPhone 8. This iPhone features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and a home button with a Touch ID below the display, which lets you securely unlock your phone and authenticate purchases. FaceTime HD camera is above the screen, with 7 megapixels for selfies. Not only can it take them in Portrait mode, but the new processor also allows for Photographic Styles.

While it has the same 12-megapixel primary lens, it captures images and videos faster, supports better details with Smart HDR 4, Deep Fusion, and now shoots in the same Photographic Styles.

Finally, the iPhone SE third generation has a larger battery and supports 5G Sub-6, which may not be useful for day-to-day use but proves useful for the future.
