BANGKOK –  Japanese National Furiko Sukazawa  fell to her death from a 33-storey high condominium building in the Thong Lor area on Sukhumvit Road of Bangkok about midnight, police told the Bangkok Post on Tuesday morning.

Police called to the scene found the body of Furiko Sukazawa, 59, on the ground in front of a condominium building in Thong Lor Soi 8.

Initial investigations found that she fell dropped from the 28th floor of the building, where she stayed with her American husband.

Officials at the scene said there were no signs of a struggle in the condo. Police found a button from her blouse on a window sill in the bedroom, said Pol Lt Supakorn Tippila, a case officer at Thong Lor police station.

They also found a prescription for stress relief medicine from a hospital.

The couple had some arguments lately and the last time was just before the incident, police said. The husband left the condo and could not find his wife when he returned.

CCTV footage shows only the husband leaving the room. Police will question the husband and other people to find a motive for her death.
