Chinese Tourist Killed, Two Passengers Injured after Car Crashes in Kamphaeng Phet Province

KAMPHAENG PHET – One Chinese tourist has been killed and two other passengers injured when the car they were driving rammed into a tree at a ditch in Khanu Waralaksaburi district on late Sunday night.
Pol Lt Arwut Kerdyindee, a duty officer at Khanu Waralaksaburi police station reported that police and rescue workers went to the scene of the accident and found the three Chinese men trapped inside Honda, in a ditch dividing the road.
Police investigators reported that the three men were travelling in the Honda sedan and when the driver tried to negotiate a curve he rammed into a tree and ended up in the roadside ditch.
The driver was killed instantly, while the other two passengers were badly injured.
The two suriving Chinese tourists were transported to Khanu Waralaksaburi’s district hospital by the local rescue team, while police further investigated the accident scene.
