Thailand’s Transportation Department Lunches Program to Teach High School Students About Traffic Laws
CHIANG RAI – In an attempt to reduce casualties from road accidents, Thailand’s Land Transport Department has launched a program, aimed at educating school students aged above 15 to learn more about traffic law.
Director-general of the department said offices under the Land Transport Department nationwide are assigned to cooperate with schools and the private sector to prepare the program called ‘New Generations of Student have Driving License’.
Under the program, the participants will be educated on traffic signs, land traffic law and undergo both E-exam and driving tests. More than 21,000 students throughout the country are expected to participate in the program.
