The film will give viewers goosebumps due to a complicated marriage leading to a mysterious murder, which brings a lot of drama to the screen.
Deep Water recently released its official trailer. In the trailer, Ana de Armas’ Melinda and Ben Affleck’s Vic speak about their marriage as the former Vic asks why he is the only one who wants to stay with her. As the clip continues, Melinda gets involved with other people, while her husband appears to be furious and jealous. When Melinda finds a dead body in a swimming pool, he seems to be playing mind games with her. There is a strong hint in the trailer that “Love is not the end of the story” as the psychological drama unfolds.

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas star in Deep Water as a married couple with a complex relationship. Also appearing in the film are Tracy Letts, Lil Rel Howery, Rachel Blanchard, Finn Wittrock, Jacob Elordi, Kristen Connolly, and Dash Mihok. In the film, Vic and Melinda fall out of love and begin playing mind games against one another to salvage their marriage. It is based on the 1957 book of the same name by Patricia Highsmith.
According to Screenrant, the movie was scheduled about a decade ago. Adrian Lyne stepped forward to direct the project and it finally picked up momentum after Affleck and de Armas signed on to direct. Disney acquired the rights to the movie. The movie was originally going to be released in theaters, but the makers later decided to release it digitally instead. It will be available on Hulu on March 18, 2022.
