Oscars 2022: Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes To Host The Gala Event
Since the Oscars 2022 nominations were announced, a buzz has been created among fans. In a recent development, Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall are in final negotiations to host the Oscars in 2022.
The three cosmic forces are finalizing details to host the Academy Awards this year, according to Variety. Although telecast creatives have discussed several scenarios, only the three stars have been named as emcees.
Will Packer has been meeting for weeks looking for the right choice for Hollywood’s biggest night. One scenario Packer toyed with involved presenting a different pair of emcees every hour in a three-act structure. Over the past weeks, a long list of top talent has met with Packer, including the ‘Mad Men’ star Jon Hamm, who exited talks over the weekend, according to sources of the international outlet.

Soon, the hosts of Oscars 2022 will be formally announced on Good Morning America. Chris Rock, Neil Patrick Harris, Ellen DeGeneres, Seth MacFarlane, Billy Crystal, James Franco, and Anne Hathaway have all hosted in the last decade.
