Thailand's 2,000 Vaccines Deaths Refuted by Health Department

In the past two years, more than 2,000 deaths have been attributed to the Covid-19 vaccines according to figures released yesterday by Thailand’s Public Health Ministry.

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) presented a report on all vaccines administered and associated with unintentional deaths.

According to the report, 138 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines had been administered as of June 12.

There were 48.57 million doses of AstraZeneca, followed by 42.45 million of Pfizer, 26.52 million of Sinovac, 14.85 million of Sinopharm, and 6.28 million of Moderna.

The report also indicated 86 cases of adverse effects, 45 of which were attributed to Sinovac, 23 to AstraZeneca, 14 to Pfizer, and four to Sinopharm.

Additionally, six AstraZeneca cases and one Pfizer case involved vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT).

Over the course of the past two years, 2,270 deaths were attributed to vaccines, 1,624 of which had been investigated by experts.

Of the 1624 cases, six were attributed to reactions from vaccines or 0.37%.

There were two cases of VITT, two cases of severe allergic reactions, one of myopericarditis, and another of Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis.

In 101 cases, the link to vaccines could not be proven, making up 6.22 percent of the total.

A total of 217 cases, or 13.36%, had unclear results. These individuals were among those with pre-existing symptoms including cardiovascular disease (135 cases), cerebral hemorrhage (25 cases), and VITT (2 cases).

A total of 253 cases will be considered for re-examination, which accounts for 15.58 percent.

The remaining 1,047 cases, or 64.47 percent of those investigated, were not linked to vaccines.

Among them, 84 were caused by intracerebral hemorrhage, two were caused by neurological or brain infections, 411 were caused by acute pneumonitis and 184 were caused by heart conditions.
Hospitals are working with the health department to get the rest examined.
