Frank Bishop passed away yesterday, due to an apparent heart attack…

CHIANG RAI – Long time resident, teacher and family man, Frank Bishop passed away suddenly the other day leaving friends and family in shock. Frank was know and respected throughout Chiang Rai and will be sadly missed.

Frank’s life was taken away from us too soon and it is hard to understand why tragic things like this happen to such good people. However, this is a question without an answer and we should not dwell on the loss of our dear friend. Today let’s celebrate his life and remember all of the remarkable things Frank accomplished and how wonderful his life was.

It is incredibly sad that Frank’s life ended so soon and we cannot put into words how much we will miss him. Frank was a positive person and would not want us to be sad today. If he were here he would tell us to cheer up, smile and remember all of the great memories we all shared. Even though Frank may be gone, his memory will live on in all of us forever. Frank we appreciate your friendship and will never forget you.

Franks Bishops Funeral…His funeral will be in Chiang Rai until July 5th at Banmai Temple, Muang, Chiangrai. His body will transfer and arrive Chiangrai tomorrow morning.

I am totally shaken after hearing from another friend, that one of my friends and perhaps one of the most colorful persons I have ever known, has passed away…Frank Bishop passed away yesterday, due to an apparent heart attack…He had, just a couple days ago, picked up his mother in BKK…He last posted on the 26’th of this month, on his F/B page, stating he felt a bit under the weather…To Aou, Franks wife, all of us that knew him, drank with him and shared food and jokes, our hearts are with you and your family. Frank had a heart bigger than all of Thailand…There was not a thing he would not help you with…Frank and I, may have had our differences, but we always understood and respected each others opinions…I will miss Frank and knowing we won’t be able to argue anymore…God bless you Frank…Safe journey.
