This new series follows descendants of some of the most famous Vikings in history as they become embroiled in a religious war.
Following the St Brice’s Day Massacre, the peace between Christian and pagan Vikings is in tatters.
Kattegat is just one of the kingdoms that are targeted by those seeking to rid the world of alternative religious beliefs.
Fans will be delighted to hear that two more episodes have already been ordered for season two after the season one finale.
Before its initial release, the show was given a three-season order with at least 24 episodes.
When will Vikings Valhalla season 2 be Released?
Filming has already wrapped for the second season, which will premiere in November 2021.
At the moment, no official release date has been given, but viewers shouldn’t have to wait too long. Vikings Valhalla season 2 New episodes may air before the end of 2022 since filming is already complete.
Currently, it is known that the season will have eight episodes, all of which will be released at the same time.

By the end of the first season, Freyd*s Eir*ksdóttir (Frida Gustavsson) and Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter) left Kattegat.
They’ll appear in season two, and they’ll eventually reunite with Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett).
King Canute (Bradley Freegard) was seen leading his army towards Kattegat, which could spell the end for Olaf Haraldsson (Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson).
Sadly, some characters will not be returning, including Jarl Haakon (Caroline Henderson) and Jarl Kåre (Asbjørn Krogh). Leif’s partner Liv (Lujza Richter) was also killed during the Kattegat battle.
