The Official London Theatre Kids Week a Huge Success
Kids Week is an exciting event dedicated to introducing young individuals to the vibrant world of children’s shows in London theatres. During this special occasion, children aged 17 and under can enjoy the magic of participating shows for FREE when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Additionally, you have the opportunity to purchase up to two extra children’s tickets at half the price. The best part is that there are no additional booking or transaction fees to worry about!
Essential ticket information
Due to our collaboration with various box offices employing different ticketing systems, when you purchase your tickets, they will be displayed at half their original price on the seating plan. Rest assured, this reflects the same fantastic offer of one adult paying full price and one child attending for free. Remember to select the total number of tickets equivalent to your party size (e.g., 2 adults and 3 children = 5 tickets).
Please note that you must book a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 tickets, with no more than 4 adults in your group. If there are 4 or more children, a minimum of two adults must accompany them.
Exciting dates for Kids Week
The Kids Week deal covers selected performances throughout the entire month of August, from the 1st to the 31st. While it was originally confined to just one week (hence the name), its popularity led to its expansion, allowing families to indulge in theatrical experiences throughout the entire month.
Are all performances in August eligible for Kids Week?
The Kids Week deal is exclusively applicable to selected dates and participating kids theatre shows, with bookings made directly through our website. It’s important to note that there is a limited allocation of Kids Week tickets for each performance, and not all shows will have tickets available for sale, so keep an eye out for eligible London shows for kids.
What is the cost of Kids Week tickets?
Ticket prices vary depending on the chosen show, so it’s advisable to check the specific details during your booking process. All adults are required to pay full price, while each adult ticket entitles you to a complimentary children’s ticket. Additionally, you have the option to book up to 2 additional children’s tickets at half the price. Rest assured, there are no additional booking, postage, or transaction fees associated with Kids Week tickets.
Can my 17-year-old child receive a free kids’ ticket?
Absolutely! We extended the offer a couple of years ago, allowing any child aged 17 or under to enjoy a free kids’ ticket as part of the Kids Week promotion. Can I bring a child under 5 to the theatre? The admittance of young children depends on the specific show and theatre. Certain venues and performances have strict age policies, limiting entry for very young children. We highly recommend referring to the Age & Content Guide provided on the individual listings page of each show. The guide will provide you with the necessary information.
Can I bring a baby to the theatre?
Please be advised that almost all kids theatre London performances do not permit babies in arms. For the current guidelines, we recommend directly contacting the venue to inquire about their specific policies.
Can I use Theatre Tokens to purchase Kids Week tickets?
Certainly! Theatre Tokens can be redeemed online when making your booking, allowing you to conveniently utilise them for Kids Week tickets.
Will there be Kids Week Activities?
We are excited to announce that more details regarding this year’s Kids Week activities will be unveiled closer to the on-sale date. Stay tuned for an array of engaging and entertaining events!
Can I exchange or refund my tickets?
Please note that exchange and refund policies may vary depending on the theatre. We can only offer exchanges or refunds if granted by the respective venue. Ticket refunds will solely be issued in the event of a cancelled performance.
