Taylor Swift Confirms 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)' Will Be Her Next Re-Record

(CTN News) – We will not wait much longer for Taylor Swift’s versions of “Back to December,” “Mine” and “The Story of Us” to be released.

There is a re-recording of Taylor Swift’s third studio album, “Speak Now,” which is expected to be released on July 7. The pop superstar announced this during a concert in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday night.

It’s no secret that I like to plan things and it’s no secret that I like to surprise you with the things that I have been planning for you in the future.

The way I express my love for you is through this language. There is nothing I like better than plotting, scheming, planning and then I get to tell you about it all.

So rather than me being the one to speak about it,” she told the nearly 71,000 fans at Nissan Stadium in anticipation of Saturday’s game, as they screamed in excitement as she spoke.

This is what I thought I would show you. We have a large screen in the back of the room, so if you look in the back you will see it.”

A graphic showing the album’s new cover art and release date was then displayed on the video board, along with the album’s new track listing. Following Taylor Swift’s performance, the first surprise tune of the evening was performed. This song that was the fifth single from her album “Speak Now” and reached No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2010.

As an 18 to 20 year old, I was completely on my own when I wrote my first album, ‘Speak Now’.

In an accompanying announcement on social media, Taylor Swift recalled, “The songs that came out of these years were marked by brutal honesty, diaristic confessions, and wild wistfulness.”

A great deal of what I like about this album is how it tells a story of growing up, flailing, flying, and crashing… and living to tell the tale.”

It is also reported that “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” contains six additional songs purged from Taylor Swift’s vault. Following the re-release of “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” and “Red (Taylor’s Version), the disc, which includes the hits “Mean” and “Ours,” as well as fan favorites “Enchanted” and “Last Kiss,” will be Taylor’s third re-released album. It was released in 2021 for both of them.

After her former record label Big Machine Records Taylor Swift sold the original master recordings to a private equity firm, the 12-time Grammy winner has begun the process of re-recording her six studio albums after selling the original master recordings to her former record label Big Machine Records.

In digital, CD, vinyl, cassette and digital formats, “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” can be pre-ordered now at taylorswift.com in digital, CD, vinyl and cassette formats.
