Snoop Dogg & Kelly Clarkson Hosted NBC’s “American Song Contest”
NBC has recently postponed the premiere date of the American Song Contest, revealing the names of two popular artists who will host the show. The American rapper Snoop Dogg and the American singer and songwriter Kelly Clarkson will host this year’s American Song Contest, according to Variety. The American Song Contest is an adaptation of the Eurovision Song Contest, which has been broadcast by the European Broadcasting Union for 65 years and is watched by 200 million viewers each year. The contest will feature live performances from all 50 states, five territories, and Washington, D.C. to choose the best hit song.
In a statement, the broadcast network shared information about the contest. There will be a soloist, duo, or a band representing every location and performing a new original song that celebrates the diversity of styles and genres found throughout the United States. In the live competition, artists compete in a series of qualifying rounds, followed by semi-finals and the ultimate grand final, in which one state or territory emerges victorious.”

Additionally, when Snoop Dogg was chosen to host the show, he expressed how honored he was to host the show alongside his sister Kelly Clarkson, aka Miss Texas. Kelly Clarkson, meanwhile, expressed her excitement at hosting the show with the rapper and spoke highly of him. American Song Contest premiere date
During the contest period, 21 March 2022 through 9 May 2022, 8 p.m. Eastern Time. Every Monday for eight weeks, two-hour episodes will air. The final episode will be released on 9 May.
