Hannah Waddingham Reveals ‘Ted Lasso’ Will Begin Filming On March 7

Season 2 of Ted Lasso recently ended and fans are eagerly awaiting news about the next season. Taking on the role of Rebecca, Hannah Waddingham spoke with Variety about the upcoming season and revealed filming for Ted Lasso season 3 will begin on March 7, 2022. Preparation work is currently being done by the team before the shoot begins.

Ted Lasso season 3 filming to begin soon

Hannah Waddingham told the publication that filming for the next season of the show will begin next month. Her comment was that it seems like it was a very long time ago when the cast and crew were on set and that they are in the process of preparing for filming to begin. She told Variety via Screen Rant that-

“We haven’t started filming. We’re kind of doing our prep for it at the moment. And that’s a lot more time-consuming than most people think. It’s like getting a load of plates spinning in the right direction again. I think we reconvene around the seventh of March. We’re all absolutely champing at the bit, it feels like it’s been an awfully long time.”

After its release in 2020, the sports-comedy drama received an enormous amount of love and praise. In the series, an American football coach is assigned to coach a British soccer team. A number of awards and recognitions have been given to the show and its actors. Both Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein won Emmy Awards in the category of best-supporting actress and actor in a comedy.

He is working on several projects and will soon appear in Hocus Pocus 2, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy. Halloween 2022 will see the film released on Disney+. The film will also star Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Henderson, Juju Brenner, Whitney Peak, and others.
