‘American Idol’ Season 20 Premiere Date, Time, and How To Watch

There will be a milestone season of ‘American Idol’ this year, which is set to return later this week.

FOX will premiere “American Idol” Season 20 on Sunday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. ET. The series is also available on FuboTV (free trial) and Hulu + Live TV (free trial).

Across the country, talented vocalists audition for “Idol” judges in hopes of making the final 24 and performing on the main stage. As part of the premiere episode, viewers learn the audition process Adthe contestants’ personal stories.

This season, the judges to watch are Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. The reality singing competition, which launched the careers of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Jennifer Hudson, puts the contestants through weeks of challenges and tests their stage presence and range.
