Nan resident Charan Kamnont, 43, and his wife Srikham Pinta, 38, along with another man Chan Sawatdee, 47, were arrested by Muang Sing Buri police.

The police managed to have the corn dumped from the 10-wheel truck onto the ground to find 59 bags containing 11.6 million speed pills and 28 bags of 700-kg crystal meth, Pol. Gen. Chalermkiat said.

The drugs had been trafficked from Chiang Rai province in northern Thailand since Tuesday with a pickup truck leading the drug-laden 10-wheel truck along the way, the deputy police chief said.
