Woman Arrested for Posing as Beauty Clinic Doctor

It has been reported that a 30-year-old woman who used bogus credentials to manipulate a beauty clinic to get employment as a doctor has been arrested.

Ms. Natchanan Pitakchaikorn was arrested at her house in Bangkok’s Noi district on Wednesday.

The fake doctor was wanted under an arrest warrant after a complaint was filed by the owner of a beauty clinic in Nonthaburi province.

Police alleged that Ms. Natchanan forged her doctor’s profile, using real doctors’ profiles, and claimed to be a beauty clinic owner. She allegedly created a doctor’s profile using photo editing software to get a job at a clinic.

The woman had previously used the same tactic to get work at a clinic elsewhere and was prosecuted and sentenced to prison.

Beauty Clinic Obsession

In her confession, Natchanan admitted she had previously worked in other beauty clinics and moved on before being suspected. Her goal was to earn enough money to open her own beauty clinic.

She has been prosecuted in 13 cases since 2013 for using other people’s profiles to conduct transactions and posing as a cosmetic doctor to obtain jobs at a clinic.

Between December 2016 and August 2017, she was imprisoned. As soon as she was released, she falsely presented herself as a beauty doctor.

At the time of her arrest in Nonthaburi on Wednesday, she was still on probation after an early release from prison.

She was charged with providing unauthorized medical services and fraud.
