BANGKOK – Police in Thailand are hunting a foreign man after the discovery of dead woman (Laxami Manochart) found stuffed in a suitcase floating in the Mae Klong River in Kanchanaburi on Nov 6, and said she was last seen alive with a male foreigner leaving Bangkok in a taxi for Kanchanaburi

Investigators have since used security footage to establish the movements of the wanted man and Laxami Manochart, 31.

She was identified by relatives from the diamond embedded in an eye tooth, a navel piercing and distinctive clothing.

Security camera footage shows her leaving the Bangkok bar zone with a male foreigner about 11pm on November 1, and getting in a taxi that headed to Kanchanaburi.

Her body was found in the suitcase floating in the Mae Klong River in Kanchanaburi on November 6.

The victim’s mother, Sad Manochart, 60, of Si Sa Ket province, was last in touch with her daughter on November 1, when she promised to send more money.

Khun Sad said Luxami had previously stayed in the US with a former husband. She later returned to Thailand and worked to support the family.

Pol Maj Gen Kamolsanti Klanbut, chief of Kanchanaburi police, said investigators would try to track down the foreigner who had accompanied her.

Thai media reported that the taxi driver who took the couple to Kanchanaburi had already met with police and given them information.

UPDATE: New photos and a video have been released as the hunt for the Thai Woman murder suspect continues. Police are now offering a 100,000 baht reward for information that leads to the apprehension of the man last seen with the victim Laxami Manochat.

Below is CCTV footage of the couple inside Nana Plaza on the night of November 1st heading to the stairway that leads to the ground floor. Police revealed the couple left Bangkok and headed north to Kanchanaburi in a taxi shortly after.

The nationality of the white male suspect is unknown at this time and I have personally heard 6 or 7 suggestions.

It is believed he was accompanied by two friends on the evening of November 1st and all three were captured on CCTV just before 11pm heading in the direction of Rainbow 4 Go Go bar.

A still taken from a camera on the 1st floor of Nana Plaza on October 31st shows the prime suspect and what appears to be one of the same men in the photo above following behind.

If you have any information as to who the man is, his whereabouts or if you seen him in Bangkok or Kanchanaburi you can contact Pol. Lt. Gen Veerapong Chuenpakdee on 081-8891839.
