PATTAYA – Three Russians were apprehended by Pattaya Tourist police after they were accused of an elaborate attempt to rob diners at a popular restaurant in the Pattaya.

The 3 Russian men all in their 20’s were caught on camera initially sitting at separate tables in the Surf Kitchen Restaurant in Pattaya in Thailand.

After paying the bill the first man fell to the floor and ‘transformed’ into a ‘zombie’. They started biting each other and rolling around on the floor, the Asian Correspondent reports.

As the three ‘zombies’ were on the loose in the restaurant, a number of diners fled outside and left their valuables on the table.

However, staff – armed with wooden chairs – were able to confront the ‘walking dead’, and soon police arrived.

During questioning at the local police station, the men denied any wrong intentions and police were left with no option but to release the three pranksters.
