A backpack containing a woman’s head was among the gruesome discoveries made in bushes off Sam Wa Road.

A Romsai rescue foundation volunteer, who alerted police, said he regularly used the route and noticed a black backpack abandoned in the area three or four days ago. He became suspicious after noticing a strong smell. He went to check and found a wrapped human head inside the backpack. He immediately alerted police.

Min Buri police and rescue workers began to search the area and found two fertilizer sacks and a garbage bag not far from the backpack. More body parts were found inside those bags, prompting police to cordon off the area.

According to the Bangkok Post forensic police examined the backpack and found a human head wrapped in a red towel, with two garbage bags wrapped around it. One of the two fertilizer sacks contained three garbage bags stuffed with parts including a female torso with signs of mutilation in the genital area.

The other fertilizer sack contained two garbage bags, one containing two thighs and the other one a black towel, a black brassiere, a red long-sleeved garment with a hood and a red T-shirt. All of the clothes had been slit.

At around 2am Saturday, rescue workers found more garbage bags with body parts, including hands, feet and arms, along with personal belongings including four fashionable rings, a gold ring and a pair of glasses.
