Drunk, Naked American Attacks Cashier in Pattaya

Naked American tourist attacks an innocent girl at a 7-Eleven store, this incident shocked and disgusted local people.

 

PATTAYA –  Police early Thursday detained a naked American man who appeared to be intoxicated and had allegedly grabbed a cashier from a beer bar by her neck and punched her in the face.

The incident took place in a 7-Eleven Opposite Bangkok Bank Pratamnak Road, Moo 10, Tambon Nong Prue, Banglamung, Chonburi.

Pol Lt Puttipong Chuenchom, a duty officer at Muang Pattaya police station in Chon Buri, said he received a report of the incident about 4am. The African-American tourist was identified as Mr. Kenwell.

Sirilak Hongruchiko, a 38-year-old bar cashier from Buri Ram, told investigators that the man, who was naked and appeared disoriented, ran from a hotel in South Pattaya and grabbed hold of her as she was returning home from work early Thursday. He grabbed her by the neck and took her to a nearby 7-Eleven store.

Ms Sirilak said she tried to fight back but the man punched her and broke her tooth. She screamed for help as a team of policemen arrived at the convenience store. It took the police about 10 minutes to convince the man to let go of her.

Pol Lt Puttipong said the American was later detained at the police station and was not in a condition to be questioned by investigators at the time. Some reports suggested the man’s drinks had been spiked with a drug. – Bangkok Post  Pattaya Mail Khaosod
