PATTAYA –  Police in Pattaya have reported that they were called to the Mini Siam Superkart Racing Track in North Pattaya to investigate reports of a British staff member who reportedly hanged himself in a storeroom.

Upon arriving at the Mini Kart Racing track they were led to a shed where the found  the body of Mr. Mike Ord aged 65, hanging from a roof beam. A piece of nylon rope had been made into a noose presumably by the Ord.

According to Mr. Bancha Prakobsuk, Ord had recently complained that his wife planned to move back to her family home.

According to Mr. Bancha, the Briton Mechanic had been working with the establishment for about a year.

Initial investigation reported no trace of intruder and no evidence indicated that Mr. Ord was beaten or injured before his death.

Pattaya Police said his body is scheduled for postmortem analysis at the Police Hospital in Bangkok.
