60 Year-Old Briton Falls to his Death from Condo in Jomtien Beach

PATTAYA – Police in Jomtien beach have reported that a 60 year-old British man fell to his death from a condominium on Wednesday night.

His body was found on the ground in front of the entrance of building A2 of a condominium complex on Jomtien Sai 2 Road in Bang Lamung district about 9pm.

Police said the dead man was British national aged 60 years. His name was withheld pending notification of relatives.

Pol Lt Naret Phumsuk, deputy investigation chief at Pattaya police, said a security guard told police sent to the scene that he heard a loud thump, like a large object hitting the ground, while patrolling the area about 9pm.

He hurried to check it out and discovered a man’s body lying face-up on the ground, blood pooling around his head. He immediately alerted police.

Pol Lt Naret said investigators had not yet concluded why he fell. They were viewing security camera recordings and questioning people for information.

The body was sent to Police General Hospital’s Institute of Forensic Medicine for post-mortem examination.
