BANGKOK – Pol Lt Col Nopadon Samat, from Thong Lor Police Station has reported that Japanese software programmer Kurashina Hirochika, 37, jumped from the 8th floor of his Bangkok condominium early Thursday morning.

Upon arriving at the scene police officers from Thong Lor Police Station and an emergency physician at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital found Mr. Hirochika lying dead on the lawn next to the Raintree Villa Condo in Soi Sukhumvit 53.

The right arm and the neck of Mr Hirochika were fractured which most like had caused the death Pol Lt Col Nopadon Sama said.

They did not find signs of violence but bagged a letter addressed to his parents written in English and Japanese as evidence. “We also know that he had been sick for a while,” Pol Lt Col Nopadon revealed. “In the letter, he complained about his deteriorating health.”

Every morning, the guard said Mr Hirochika had been working as a software programmer and had been renting room for three years. The guard said, every morning Mr Hirochika would ask him to call a taxi to work

An initial investigation report described Mr Hirochika as a person who did not associate with anyone and made the impression of suffering from a depressive disorder.

The body of Mr Hirochika has been sent to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital of post- mortem examination.
