30 Year-Old Finnish Man Jumps to His Death in Chiang Mai

CHIANG MAI – Tourist Police in Chiang Mai have reported that 30 year-old Finnish National, Perka Laine, leaped to his death from the from the sixth floor of the Arcade Inn Hotel on Kaewnawarat Road.
According to CityNews the hotel staff, had called the tourist police earlier to inform them that the man in question was seen wandering around the hotel mumbling to himself.
When the tourist police arrived they tryed to engage him in conversation, however he seemed to ignore all there attempts to talk with him.

According to the tourist police, they followed Mr.Laine as he walked up to his room on the 6th floor where he entered his room, he walk to the refrigerator, grab a bottle of water, after which he immediately turned around and jumped out of the window.
Pol Capt Gesha of Royal Thai Provincial police arrived at the scene shortly after Laine had jumed and found no note or any explanation as to why he had jumped.
He said that Mr Laine might have had personal problems and did not know how to solve them, causing a panic reaction which then led to him deciding to commit suicide.
Various Thai news agencies reported different stories leading up to the death of Mr. Laine, however they all ended with the same conclusion, Mr. Laine Jumped and died…R.I.P
