26 Year-Old Dutch Woman Jumps to her Death in Chiang Mai

CHIANG MAI – Police were called to the Grandview Hotel after a Dutch woman, Miss Nouschka Kuss, 26, leapt from the fifth floor car park of the hotel.
Police were called to the scene on Saturday afternoon after receiving a call from Ms Gridima Limsiri a concerned Thai woman, who is reported to have known the victim.
When police and rescue workers arrived at the Grandview Hotel, they found 26 year-old Nouschka Kuss, alive but with life threatening injuries.
She was rushed to the Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai hospital but died a short time later.
Police investigating the incident have been trying to establish why the young Dutch woman leapt from the fifth floor car park of the hotel.
Police sai the examined the cell phone of Miss Kuss and found a text reportedly to a friend Jerry Perry, which read: “Don’t have to worry about me. Take care of yourself. If anything happens to me, please don’t blame yourself. We cannot please everybody.â€
Another message was to the boyfriend of Ms Kuus who told police he last saw her on June 24th and that no argument took place between them.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and officials from the Dutch Embassy have been notified.
