CHIANG RAI – Privy Councillor Palakorn Suwannarat and his entourage have visited Chiang Rai Province to observe royally initiated development projects.

Mr. Palakorn inaugurated the electric power supply system at the Highland Agriculture Development Station in Mae Fah Luang District. The construction took 65 days, starting on 1st April and ending on 4th June, with a budget of 1.7 million baht. The project is intended to support the operation of the Agriculture Development Station and provide electricity to mountainside residents.

The privy councilor and his entourage then took part in a farming efficiency activity with villagers, in celebration of the 70th accession anniversary of His Majesty the King, and Her Majesty the Queen’s 84th birthday anniversary. The activity was also to show moral support and offer thanks to those who engage in conservation agriculture.

Meanwhile, Chiang Rai Province, officials and various organizations went on parade to publicize Sunday’s upcoming referendum, traveling along the province’s main Thanalai Raod towards Samakkhi Witthayakhom School on Baanpa Pragarn Road.
