29 Year-Old Norwegian Man Killed in Motorcycle Collision in Chiang Rai

CHIANG RAI – A 29 tear-old Norwegian tourist was killed om Sunday evening while riding his motorcycle near Rajabhat Chiang Rai University in the Bandu District of Muang Chiang Rai.

Police said Ing McNus Bartholl, 29, was killed instantly in the accident, which occurred

Police said the Norwegian tourist was riding a large Kawasaki motorcycle when the other motorcycle, apparently cut in front of him, resulting in the fatal crash.

Two Thai men on the other motorcycle were severely injured. Neither was carrying any ID so police have yet to identify them as they recover from their injuries at Chiang Rai Hospital.

Bartholl, 29, entered the kingdom on September 11 via the Chiang Khong district border checkpoint and had been staying in Chiang Rai’s Muang district
