It comes in two versions: the RWD i5 eDrive40 with 335 hp and 295 miles of range and the dual-motor i5 M60 xDrive with 592 hp and 256 miles. Both models feature a modular battery pack with fast charging capabilities and exciting performance features.

  3. Electric Escalade: General Motors plans to release an all-electric version of the Cadillac Escalade, known as the “Escalade IQ,” later this year. This aligns with GM’s goal of transforming Cadillac into an electric vehicle brand by 2030. The electrified Escalade offers an exciting option for SUV enthusiasts.
  4. Prieto Batteries: Prieto Battery, a leader in lithium-ion battery technology, has unveiled a groundbreaking prototype of its 3D interdigitated battery. This battery charges incredibly fast, with a full charge taking only three minutes and a 50% charge achieved in just 90 seconds. It also operates and charges efficiently in extreme temperatures and is nonflammable, making it a safer option. Prieto’s battery technology shows promise for electric vehicles and other applications.

Overall, these developments highlight the ongoing progress in the electric vehicle industry, with new electric models, expanding markets, and advancements in battery technology.
