Two Tremors Felt in Phan and Mae Lao Chiang Rai

CHIANG RAI -The Seismological Bureau  has reported that two mild tremors were recorded in the northernmost province of Chiang Rai on Thursday, but no damage was recorded.

The Seismological Bureau reported that a quake with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale was detected five kilometers underground in Phan district of Chiang Rai at 1.23am.

The other tremor with a 4.6 magnitude was recorded nine kilometers underground in Mae Lao district of the same province at 2.29pm.

People could feel both quakes however there were no reports of any damage in Chiang Rai.
