Thailand Wins Gold in Men’s 85kg at World Bodybuilding Championships in Hungary

BUDAPESTThailand, Hungary and Iran each won two gold medals on Saturday at the 5th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in Budaors, just outside of Budapest.

Sawaeng Panapoi of Thailand won the men’s bodybuilding 80kg category, while his compatriot Roontawan Jindasing took gold for the women’s fitness physique in the 165cm class, pushing up the Thai wins to five.

Hungarian women got two golds in fitness physique categories. Jennifer Toth won the women’s junior gold, while the over 165cm gold went to Dorottya Nemeth for the fourth top slot among the Hungarian women.

Iranian contestants triumphed in two men’s athletic physique categories. Ali Sorour Poor won the 170cm division, while Aghil Moradi triumphed in the 180cm category.

Kazakhstan, South Korea, India and Ukraine each picked one gold.

The winner of the women’s model physique at 160cm was Daniya Tleumbetova of Kazakhstan, and the gold of the women’s model physique at 165cm went to Lee Huang Mi of South Korea with China’s Sun Ruifen in second place. Sun also placed third in the women’s fitness physique 165cm category.

Ankur Sharma of India triumphed in the men’s bodybuilding 85kg class.The winner of the women’s junior model physique category was Daria Malsak of Ukraine.
