CHIANG RAI – Thai Airways said it discovered a burst tire on an Airbus A300-600 after the aircraft landed safely Tuesday at Chiang Rai International Airport in northern Thailand.

The burst rear tire was found during an inspection after Flight TG130 from Bangkok had landed in Chiang Rai, the airline said in a statement. It said that none of the 197 passengers or 10 crew members aboard was injured.

The airline said it was investigating the cause of the incident.
