.
CHIANG RAI – The National Reform Steering Assembly’s (NRSA) Social Reform Steering Committee visited Chiang Rai Province to gather public opinion on social concerns from local people and officials.
The NRSA’s President of Social Reform Steering Committee Anothai Rittipanyawong today led a team of NRSA members to visit Chiang Rai Province in order to gather public input and information from local authorities on social issues at Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai Airport conference room.
From briefings by local officials, Chiang Rai Province is unaffected by severe issues related to labour, human trafficking, or other topics of concern. The province is now promoting the support for Thailand’s transition to an ageing society by providing occupational funds, clubs subsidiary fund, and living allowances for elders.
After the meeting, the NRSA team also observed the work of local officials that are supportive of elders and underprivileged persons at Hua Ngom Subdistrict, Chiang Rai Province.
