PATTAYA -Pattaya police and rescue workers from Sawangboriboon Pattaya Foundation were rushed to Sam beach on Koh Larn to examine the body of a Caucasian man who was believed to be the missing Russian tourist, 47-year old Roman Makarov.

Pattaya Police Said the Russian national went missing while snorkeling off Koh Larn in Pattaya two days ago while snorkeling.

Police said that Makarov and his Russian girlfriend visited Koh Larn last Saturday and he went snorkeling off the island and went missing.

Police said that the victim might have suffered from cramps and drowned.

His body was sent to the Police Hospital in Bangkok for an autopsy to determine the actual cause of death.
