CHIANG RAI – The Director of the Tourism Business and Guide Registration Office,

Sutham Detdee, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, presided over the opening ceremony for the Little Guide Project in Chiang Rai province.

The training program is in accordance with Thailand’s tourism strategic plan between 2015-2017 to accommodate the increased number of tourists.

The little-guide training program was initiated in 2015 to develop and train local personnel to be a good host in order to impress visitors.

The training program was attended by 70 selected students from 16 elementary schools in Chiang Rai’s elementary education area.
