CHIANG RAI – A foreign man, seen in the picture above has been using fake passports and fake driver’s licenses to rent motorbikes in the North of  Thailand and not returning them to the shops.

It’s been reported that so far the man has stolen from five shops.

1. Mr Mechanic lost a Kawasaki 650 Ninja – Chiang Mai

2. CP lost a Honda ER 6 – Chiang Mai

3. Mr Beer ER6– Chiang Mai

4. Pop Honda 500F – Chiang Mai

5. Chiang Rai Big Bike rentals lost a Honda 500F

Chiang Rai Big Bike will pay 100,000 baht as a reward for evidence that leads to the man’s arrest.

CityNews was informed that the man not only uses fake documents, but also seems very affable and charming. He pays for the rental, and in one case extended a week’s rental – for which he paid – but never returns with the bike.
