Chiang Rai’s Deputy Governor Opens Exhibition Promoting Sustainable Living

Chiang Rai province has opened an exhibition entitled “Following in the late King’s Footsteps and Sustainability” as part of a livelihood promoting campaign.

CHIANG RAI – Deputy Governor of Chiang Rai Boonwet Sripuangjai presided over the opening ceremony for the “Following in the late King’s Footsteps and Sustainability” held as part of the livelihood promoting campaign towards sustainable living launched by the Provincial Community Development Office.

The campaign calls for the implementing of the late His Majesty’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and the promoting of self-management, learning and troubleshooting processes in each community with knowledge provided from learning centers.

The event features a contest under the Sufficiency Economy principles among all 18 districts of Chiang Rai, an exhibition in honor of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, a contest of local foods as well as the sales of OTOP items.
