Scots actor James McAvoy to raise funds for Thai crash victim by giving fans the chance to star in his latest movie

 

KHO CHANG – Actor James McAvoy has offered fans the chance to visit him on the set of his new movie Frankenstein to raise money for road crash victim Graham Hogg, who is stranded in Thailand with a £15,000 medical bill.

The Filth star has offered fans the chance to visit him on the set of his latest movie to raise money for stricken Graham Hogg.

James wants to raise enough cash to cover the 37-year-old banker’s £15,000 medical bill and bring him back to his home town of Penicuik, Midlothian

Film lovers have been offered the chance to bid to join him and co-star Daniel Radcliffe on the set of his new movie Frankenstein.

In a fundraising video, James said: “I am here to ask you to help out Graham Hogg, who is a long way from home and, medically speaking, in a very tight spot.

“To help him out, you can bid for a prize, in auction form, which would be to join me on the set of Frankenstein for a day and, if you like, be an extra.

“The shoot will take place between January and March. So please bid high and dig deep.”

ames, 34, came to Graham’s aid after being contacted by mutual friend Barry Turner. Barry said: “James is a friend of a friend of mine. They went to college together.” Graham worked for Deutsche Bank before travelling the world.

He met his partner Kathy, with whom he has a one-year-old daughter, Isla, in Thailand.

They had been living in Koh Chang, Thailand, for two years but his travel insurance had lapsed when he had his accident last month.

His bike collided with another rider, leaving him with serious leg and abdominal injuries.

Nurse pal Simon Glegg, 37, said: “Because Thailand is so expensive, he’s had issues with hospital bills.”
