Woman Sells Noodles with Methamphetamine “Yaba” Pills

CHON BURI – A  52 year old Thai woman has been arrested for selling noodles dish with methamphetamine pills on the side in Sattahip district of Chon Buri province.

Somporn Plangklang, 52, was caught by Local police at her noodle stall in Chon Buri Province,  Police said she set up the stall as a front for selling methamphetamine pills.

Drug users would come to her stall on the pretence of buying noodles, she would then charge them 300 baht for a take-home dish of noodles, which came with two methamphetamine tablets included.

Chawat Thepthap, assistant provincial chief for security, said Ms Somporn had committed drug offences before.

According to the arresting officers she said she needed the money to pay off loan sharks who had threatened her if she did not repay the money she owed. She has been charged with possession of Type-1 drugs with intent to sell
