WhatsApp App Becomes Smarter About Captions And Polls

(CTN News) – It comes without saying that WhatsApp is one of the world’s most popular communication platforms. This application has consistently made our list of the best encrypted messaging apps over the past few years, so it is no surprise that it has become so popular.

In recent months, we have seen the service test new features, such as tweaks to make it easier for users to create polls and forward messages, but it is still possible for the service to improve in a number of areas.

Due to these upgrades, including the ability to create polls, which allows WhatsApp users to cast one vote, and adding captions for context to forwarded messages, which were initially only available to beta testers, this feature is now available to stable users.

There will be support for creating single-vote polls and adding customized captions to WhatsApp over the next few weeks for all users around the world.

It was Meta who introduced WhatsApp’s polls feature for the first time last November, but participants have been able to choose as many answers as they want as of yet, which is great.

However, when creating a poll, you will now be able to turn off the option to allow multiple responses when creating a poll.

Additionally, the extended functionality can also be used to let users filter their messages by polls, just as you can do the same for photos, videos, and links in your messages.

There is even an option where you can receive notifications when people vote on your polls, and you will be able to see how many people have voted in total on your poll.

As for sharing captions, you will now be able to add customized captions for any media that you send.

Whenever you forward something that has a caption attached to it, you can decide whether to keep the existing caption, remove it altogether, or add a new caption to the message so the recipient will have more context to understand what you are sending them.

Adding these new features to WhatsApp Meta is just the latest in a long line of updates the company has been making to help the app work better and look better.

It has also been recently revealed that the company has been working on integrating autoplaying GIF support into the platform for WhatsApp Android phones, as well as offering a bottom navigation bar for Android phones.
