Ubon Rathathani Train Service Suspended Due to Flooding
The huge amount of rainfall over the past two days has caused the Moon river’s tributaries in Ubon Ratchathani to overflow and flood the railway for 200-300 metres at Ban Hong San-Ban Thon in Bung Wai subdistrict.
The track was under almost 50 cm of water so the Ubon Ratchathani train station has decided to halt services for the whole day.
In Nakhon Ratchasima, rain has continued for a third consecutive day.

The water has also flooded four border villages in Khok Sung, causing damage to the farming cultivation areas of some 600 households.
Meanwhile, Water levels in this central province’s rivers continue to rise by 20-30 centimetres/day due to continued rain.
Nineteen households and some farming areas along the Tenasserim Range near the Thai-Cambodian border have so far been affected by the rain.-MCOT
