Thai Police Arrest Man for Dog Killing and Posting it on Facebook
MUKDAHAN – Thai National Witthaya Chaiyan accused of brutally killing a dog and posting a video clip on his Facebook page was arrested in Mukdahan province in Thailand.
Witthaya Chaiyan, 29, was apprehended at his house in Ban Kham Pa Lai of Muang district while co-suspect Saner Roopngam, 48, managed to escape.
Police said he admitted recording the video last Wednesday, when Saner bashed the dog on the head with a hunk of wood then slashed its throat as it lay dying. The animal was killed for its meat, according to the title of the clip.
