Premier League Titles Won By Arsenal: The History Of Their Invincibility
(CTN News) – The Premier League season has six rounds left and a wealth of data is available on every team’s performance.
The Premier League’s most creative players, based on a mix of PFF grades and data, have been assessed at each position to produce a list of the most creative players this season.
LIVERPOOL, ALISSON, GOALKEEPER
The Brazilian and Liverpool goalkeeper is ranked second in the Premier League with a 66.7 PFF passing grade. Among Brentford players, only David Raya has received more positive grades.
With 51 line-breaking passes completed, Alisson has the joint highest accuracy-adjusted pass completion rate (85%) among goalkeepers this season.
HOVE ALBION, BRIGHTON & LEWIS DUNK, CENTER BACK
There aren’t many creative centre-backs, but Dunk has been exceptional this season, as have Brighton. According to PFF, his 80.8 passing grade ranks fourth among center-backs, and his 228 line-breaking passes completed rank third among all players.
The progressive nature of Dunk’s distribution is best illustrated by his 7.2 line-breaking passes completed per 90 minutes, ranking sixth at his position, along with his 19 ‘over the top’ passes, tied-fourth most among central defenders.
NEWCASTLE UNITED, KIERAN TRIPPIER, FULL-BACK
Among all Premier League players, Trippier has created 90 chances this season.
The former Tottenham right-back is a superb crosser, ranking second only to Fulham’s Andreas Pereira among Premier League players with a 90.2 PFF crossing grade.
In the Premier League (minimum 50 crosses attempted), he completed 109 crosses, completed 3.4 crosses per 90, and completed 34% of his crosses.
Trippier’s six assists are tied for second among fullbacks behind Spurs winger Ivan Perii’s seven, but crossing has not been his only source of success. According to the PFF, he is third among full-backs with an 81.6 passing grade.
ARSENAL, MARTIN DEGAARD, MIDFIELDER
Throughout the Premier League season, Arsenal have been in the lead under Mikel Arteta and have been led by midfielder Martin De Gaard.
With a PFF passing grade of 94.5, the Dane has been an elite passer. Besides being sharp in front of goal, Daggard has also scored 11 goals this season, one more than last season.
With Gabriel Jesus out for most of the season with a hamstring injury, Daggard has stepped up to provide opportunities for his teammates. He created 68 chances, more than Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse (66) and Brighton’s Pascal Groß (66).

KEVIN DE BRUYNE, MANCHESTER CITY, ATTACKING MIDFIELDER
The grading and statistical profile of Kevin De Bruyne make it clear why he was the fifth Premier League player to reach 100 assists.
He leads the Premier League in chances created (95), assists (15), 2nd assists (8), and 3rd assists (6) this season.
He ranks second in the Premier League this season with a 95.9 PFF passing grade. He ranks fourth in PFF scoring with an 87.2 crossing grade as a complete playmaker. Among all players with at least 50 cross attempts, he ranks second with 2.6 crosses completed per-90 behind Tripper, and he leads with 1.4 crosses completed per-90 during open play.
