Performance-wise, Tesla Outperforms Volkswagen, Subaru, And BMW

(CTN News) – During 2023, Tesla has surpassed Volkswagen, Subaru, and BMW in terms of market share, capturing a whopping 4.2% of the US market.

As a result of the company’s market share growing in the US as a whole in 2023, the company sold more than 25% more cars in the US than it did the year before, which constituted an increase of more than 25% over the previous year, and as a result, Tesla’s market share in the US grew in 2023 as well.

It was announced this morning by Kelley Blue Book that its 2023 vehicle sales data will be provided by the manufacturer.

General Motors held its top position in the United States as the largest automobile manufacturer with sales of 2,577,648 vehicles, an increase of 14.1% from the previous year.

Last year, Tesla increased its sales figures in the United States by 25.4%, going from 522,444 sales in 2022 to 654,888 sales in the United States last year.

A total of 522,444 vehicles were sold by the company in 2022, resulting in the company holding a 3.8% share of the U.S. automobile market, surpassing companies such as BMW, Mazda, and Mercedes, which held 2.5%, 2.1%, and 2.5% of the market, respectively, in the same year.

It has been estimated that will have a 4.2% market share in 2023, an increase of 0.4% from 2022. With the improvement in Tesla’s rankings, the company is currently ahead of Volkswagen, Subaru, and the three previously listed businesses as a result of the improvements.

The market share of Tesla was only 0.1% less than that of Volkswagen and Subaru when it came to market share.

It is anticipated that sales will increase even more in 2024 because of its plans to launch new products in the US this year and because of Tesla’s strong performance in 2023.
