Pattaya Police have once again recorded the fall of a foreigner in Pattaya as an apparent suicide.

Witnesses at the scene said Haakon fell onto the car park at the rear of the building and his identity was confirmed by Khun Chonchanok aged 25, his girlfriend of 1 ½ months who was called to the scene by friends.

She revealed to Police that Haakon had asked her to leave him for a time as he was experiencing serious problems in Norway and he wanted to be alone.

For the last 4-5 days he had been in a deep depression. Although he was also experiencing poor health, Khun Chonchanok is convinced this was not the reason for the apparent suicide.

The Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok have been notified of the incident and are helping with Police investigators to determine a motive for the apparent suicide.
